French Bulldog Puppy Energy Level. French Bulldogs do not need a lot of exercise. Early leash training is recommended in the Frenchie Puppy years.
Frenchies are easygoing not terribly athletic. In general French Bulldogs have a fairly low energy level as adults when compared with other dogs but you do have exceptions to this rule. They adjust well to other animals too and are great with kids.
To keep their weight down however they need daily exercise through short walks or play times in the yard.
During the puppy phase expect to have to deal with a lot of high energy and destructive habits. To say that Gracie was excited would be a bit of an understatement lol. Her guardian called us to schedule a puppy behavior training session to stop her from getting over excited barking biting and pulling on the leash. Good with other Dogs.
